Security through Obscurity

We take your secret photos and securely encrypt and hide them inside of innocent looking cover photos. Once encrypted, the only way to view a secret photo is to decrypt it with a passcode that only you (and anyone you share it with) know.

There's nothing about an Undercover Pic that makes it look any different from any other photo. It looks just like any other .jpg file that you have on your phone, computer, or tablet.

Security through Encryption

Undercover Pics uses a unique combination of steganography and cryptography to conceal and disguise your secret images as innocent looking photos. An Undercover Pic does not attract attention to itself as an object of scrutiny. But even if it were to land in the wrong hands and become a target, an attacker would still have to guess your passcode or figure out a way to break through a wall of state of the art AES-128 and AES-256 encryption algorithms in order to view your secret images. In short, that's just not going to happen.

Your passwords are stored in one-way, irreversible, bcrypt hashes which means that only you, or the person that knows the true password, can decrypt and view your secret photos.
